28 Cores, 128GB RAM, 10Gbps Unmetered — 1GServers.com US West from $199.97/mo

Dedicated Server

1GServers.com has been running its own dedicated server hardware since 2012, and the Summer Bandwidth Blitz puts four US West configs on the table — with the 10Gbps unmetered builds as the main event.

10Gbps Unmetered — Dual E5-2690v4, 128GB DDR4, 2×2TB SSD — $199.97/mo

  • CPU: Dual Intel E5-2690v4 (28 Cores / 56 Threads)
  • RAM: 128 GB DDR4 ECC
  • Storage: 2× 2 TB SATA SSD
  • Network: 10 Gbps dedicated unmetered
  • IPv4: 1 included
  • IPv6: /64 upon request

The 10Gbps pair is the standout: 28 Broadwell cores, 128GB DDR4, and a dedicated unmetered 10Gbps uplink at $199.97/mo is aggressive for high-bandwidth workloads — CDN, media distribution, game server hosting, bulk data transfer. The two 10Gbps configs differ only in storage: SSD for lower-latency I/O, or 16TB across four HDDs for raw on-server capacity at the same price.

At $84/mo, the same CPU and RAM step down to 20TB on a 1Gbps port — a reasonable tradeoff if your workload doesn’t need the full pipe. The $53.84/mo entry uses Ivy Bridge-EP E5-2695v2 silicon (24 cores) with 64GB and a single 2TB SSD — a meaningful step down in core generation but still 24 threads of dual-socket iron at under $55. All hardware is owned outright; stock across all four configs is limited and won’t be replenished once sold.
